For starters, welcomed to the forum! Many will tell you some of the first things to do to a stock Maxima is to tint the windows (20% or darker looks good but it's probably illegal in your state), lower your car on eibach springs or get coilovers, get a rear swaybar(probably best bang for buck mod), install an intake and/or catback exhaust. Lastly you can customize your headlights by painting them and adding halos, switchbacks, demon eyes or retro fit high beams. Almost forgot getting a stillen lip or splitter for the front. The most common vendors for aftermarket parts for our cars are stillen, racingline performance, Megan, borla, aam and Ghoztlighting. I am sure I've missed something but this should be a good start. Good luck!!

congrats and welcome

Thats the best basic and most answered question around here. We love it though.

Youll get many varying opinions. But my 2©

1. Tint
2. Stillen front lip
3. Rear spoiler (if not equipped)
4. Cxj thermal spacers(bops optional)
5. Intake
6. Exhaust (racingline ypipe is big around here) aam, borla, magnaflow, megan, stillen....youtube this but remember vids dont capture the trueness
7. Headlights (many different options here, but this is essential for a nice looking max)
8. Customize grille
9. Lower it

Good list above^^^

Having done all of those things and a few more, lemme tell you my top 5 in order. Just my opinion.

1. Tint
2. Eibachs lowering springs
3. Stillen front lip spoiler
4. Rear sway bar (stillen or racing line--doesn't matter)
5. Exhaust (I have stillen's catback, but there are plenty of good options for this)

Quick answer, No. But in the event you lower your car with springs or coilovers then begin to experience a failure with something suspension related and try to get it repaired under your nissan warranty then you may find that nissan tries to deny your claim but if you push back they would have to prove that your mod was at fault for the part failure. Overall, you're fine. Go for it!
