Instrument Cluster Lighting

2014 - Maxima
I notice that when adjusting the panel lighting that the cluster gets way brighter than the soft glow of the amber lighting. Is there any way separate them? I prefer the instrument cluster to be very dim but would like more amber?

Not sure what you are asking for here.

Are you saying you would like the lights on the instrument cluster to be Amber instead of the White?

We have a brightness **** on the cluster that can adjust the brightness. If you want the cluster to be completely amber with no white, you will need to take it apart, unsolder the white leds, and solder the amber leds onto the board.

Not saying that. I would like to increase the amber lighting output without increasing the brightness of the instrument cluster. When doing so, it over burdens the amber glowing making it insignificant.

Increase the amber lighting on the cluster, or on our radio, controls, door buttons?

Center console, radio controls, that little courtesy light near the mirror; what I am trying to say is that when you do the adjustment, the gauges get so brite and over power the amber. I would prefer that the gauges be dim and let the amber glow more. Still not sure if this is understandable.

You made it more clear, it's not possible, but what you could do is add footwell lighting that is amber tapped into a dimmer. It would give the effect of more amber lighting. But as far as the lights on everything else, you're stuck with them unless you swap them out by taking everything apart.

Yeah, not even worth a "its a beer job" moment. Thanks for your input.
