Smelling Coolant

When I drive my car from home to work which is only 14-15 miles one way I smell coolant but I do not see any leaks. Has anyone had this problem? I just bought my baby back in August and I just clipped 60k. Any advice will be appreciated.

Yup. I posted in that thread, too. Looks like I was at 93,000 miles then. I'm sitting at 135,000 miles now. So far, VERY fortunately (knock on wood), the head gaskets continue leaking, albeit very slowly. I added 1/2 quart to it at 60,000 miles and it has not gotten low again. It definitely still leaks because I smell coolant ANYTIME the engine is hot and the radiator fans kick on.

As per the last post in the thread linked above, when under the car and looking up at the engine, there is definitely blue/green crusties where the heads meet the block. Leaking headgaskets on both heads.

I don't know what I'll do if it completely busts...sit and cry and cuss Nissan all to hell and back I guess. LOL.

Late,
Trav
