Where is the TMPS warning light?
Where is the TMPS warning light?
This may be a dumb question but where is the TPSM warning light on the dash?
I recently installed a set of aftermarket alloy wheels and winter tires without installing the TPMS sensor.
Now, my understanding is that the TMPS warning light should be appear somewhere. However, I do not see any warning light. This is good since I hate that warning light anyway and saves me some money from having to go out and buy a set of TMPS to get rid of the light.
When i had the OEM wheels/tires on, I do see the tire pressure values pop up in the small LCD window on the dash.
I have a Canadian 2014 SV with the Premium package.
I wonder if the Canadian version has the software modified to not have TMPS warning lights. It may not be a regulation requirement in Canada.
Any comments?

I believe the indicator is on the left side, above the small LCD window.
I'd recommend referring to your manual for additional information. Page 2-12

Look in the RPM cluster. Turn car on but do not start. The icon is just to the right of the word BRAKE. It will show up with all the other icons and turn off when the car is started if everything is working normally. If you don't have the sensors hooked up then the TMPS icon might not display initially. Just my assumption on the last part.

It is now lit up. It is right under the RPM needle at about 1100rpm.
It is kind of weird how it did not get registered until some time. I guess it is tied to what distance you travelled before it warns you.
It slow flash first then stayed on solid now.
Anyway, thanks for all the input. Since it is under the needle for most casual driving in the winter, I don't really see it so it does not bother me that much. I just not bother with buying another set of TPMS.
