rearview mirror question

rearview mirror question

Maybe im just going crazy, but is the greenlight on the rear view mirror always on? I dont seem to remember.. thought it was off during the day

It's on all the time as long as the engine is running or the start button is in the on position.

I have mirror with built in homelink controls. Green light is always on, unless I am pushing on of the homelink buttons, when the light turns red.

For some additional information, if you want to turn off that little green light, you would have to turn off the auto-dim feature of the rearview mirror.
The green light is bright when it is light outside, and dim when it is dark outside.

I dimmed the auto-dimming rearview mirror green led with tinted film

I also removed the ugly warning stikers on both sun visor.
