it came from Motordyne. unfortunately I won't be one of the first to rock this, saving for a wedding at the moment. one other person already has it and a couple others are installing soon. videos will be popping up soon. Tony, the owner of Motordyne, is a member of our FB group and is posting updates in there. i've heard a video though, and it sounds great. if you've heard their stuff on Z/G platforms you'll know what I'm talking about.

Ha hahahaha saving for a wedding!!! She finally got you!!!! Good man!

Now on a more serious tip do you know about the pricing of this setup? How do you compare the sound to the aam system?

**Edit** So after reading this I googled the company and holy crap their exhausts sound amazing! Although I can imagine the price tag will be in the aam range in not higher. If it sounds anything like what I've heard from the G's and Z's it will be worth it. Also, will there be a group buy at a discounted price like the aam release?

Won't this further increase the CVT noise?

What do you mean by cvt noise? Drone perhaps? If you mean drone then I don't think it will be that bad. Although I haven't seen any specs or info on the maxima specific setup I've been reading Motordyne's info on the Infiniti G and M sedan exhaust systems and they seem to be designed to reduce drone as much as possible while producing a deep tone without being raspy. Since Ghozt posted this thread I've been reading up on the company and watching videos on YouTube. I must admit their exhaust sound amazing! Most of their full systems retail for $1700+ on their website. I only hope our exhausts are a bit cheaper. Either way I am VERY interested!

The G or M series Infiniti don't have a CVT transmission in them... CVT are soo much nosier it's just constant GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, I hope this exhaust system has way to reduce it

Exhaust cannot reduce CVT transmission noise.
As far as I know they are not related from a noise standpoint.

Guys, There is no pricing or availability just yet. They are still working on it and crunching numbers, testing etc etc. Give it a little time, it was just announced, but not solid release dates have been set.

from what I've been finding the price of the Motordyne exhaust w/ the recommended ART Y pipe to reduce drone noise, you're looking at about $2,000. the AAM w/ the Racingline y pipe it's running about $1,700. Is the roughly $300 difference really worth it in terms of performance and comparison in drone noise?

Yes!!! Plus the ypipe is too long when used with the aam setup and will need to be cut in order to get everything lined up properly
