Debadge Process

Decided to remove the "MAXIMA"
What's the process? heat it up, saw away with floss?
Do I need adhesive remover?
Don't want to mess up the paint, please chime in debadgers.

As always, thanks for the knowledgeable feedback!

Hit it with a hair dryer and use fishing line to get the letters off. Follow up with some automotive goo-gone to remove the remaining adhesive.

Went out this morning with some floss. It was around 38º. Pssh. I don't need to heat this **** up.

Went at it with floss. Floss was like "nope."

As stated above but I used turtle wax sticker remover, not sure about goo gone..Ive never used it but the turtle wax is 100% safe, even used it on my gfs car when she was lightly side swiped while parked, had some paint from the other persons car, sprayed let it sit and came right off like it never happened

Debadged this morning - 27º. Hit it with a hair dryer and used fishing line to remove the letters and the burger. Added a nismo badge (hadn't seen that before and wanted to see if I like it or not)

If the badge has been there a while, may need some rubbing compound to get the ghost lettering off. Then don't forget to wax it, as that is factory fresh paint under there.

+1. Polish is what I used. Then a good wash of the area and finally wax or sealant.
