Premium Package/Auto Windows

I have a 2012 with Premium/Tech packages, but only my front two windows are automatic. What option could mine be missing? I thought the rear auto windows were included in the Premium package; all others I test drove had auto rear windows.

Try programming them, I have never tried on the rear, but for the front ones after a battery reset I always have to program them which is simple. Put them all the way down and then back up but hold the switch in the up position for about 10 seconds.

I'm familiar with this process. I've had to do it on my front windows in the past. However, my rear windows don't even have automatic switches.

I think it might have only been 2009 that had them

My 2010 Premium/Tech has auto switches for all four windows, since i bought the car back in Nov 2014, only front driver's window would auto up and down, all other would just auto down and i would have to hold the switch(es) up to raise them. I just did the programming by holding the switch for each window up (one at a time) and now all four are automatic. Thank you guys!!!

Interesting. I wonder why they'd move to discontinue. I know a 2011 I drove had all four auto, so 2012 must be the change. This just means I have a project ahead of me! 2009-2011 rear window motors added to my 2012...

I would assume its the switches that control the auto feature. Perhaps a clamping diode, or somethin similar, to hold the circuit closed until the window has went fully up or down. Hence the ability to "program" from the switch... Maybe even a module capability. Somethin to research b4 doin motors IMO.
