Wanted to see if anyone had an experience with hooking up a tablet with a mini usb to rca connection. I am only looking to get audio from this and also looking for a cable that also charges at the same time through the usb connection. Found some cables that do this, just wondering if anyone has tried. Thanks for the help.

 

Im not sure if any tablet does audio too through the USB port, you may need a USB cable to charge and a 1/8-rca for audio out of the headphone hack.

 

You will need to use a rom/kernel that supports usb OTG charging such as Timur's rom for the nexus 7. You will also need an OTG usb y-power cable to provide power as well as an output for a dac. Find a USB dac that ouputs RCA or use a 3.5mm aux to rca adapter.
