Suspension Issues (need help)

Hello Everyone!

I hope I don't get killed for asking this, but here it goes:

I own a 2009 Maxima S and it already has over 120K miles on it. I have replaced all 4 of the struts/shocks and tires on the car at least 2 times in the past 2 years but my suspension makes several knocking noises and feels "loose" when driving the car at any speed. The noises from the suspension can be felt under your feet and it feels like something is loose and rattling around. It doesn't matter if you are turning or going straight, the noise will be heard or felt.

I am not car-savvy whatsoever and have sent it to my local mechanic and he said all looked in place (suspension) and the bushings all look good. My question is, could it be that my springs are no longer good? Do springs go out? I am at a loss for what I can do and I am even thinking of selling the car due to the noise.

Any and all help/comments will be useful.

Thanks,

Sounds like bushings to me.
Lower control arm possibly.

That is something I would go to the dealer to get a diagnosis for.

Ok. What's a fair price to pay the dealer for thia type of inspection?

The inspection should not be much. My dealer would actually do it for free. Or you can have it looked at at your next oil change, as the car is already up.

I'm thinking lower control arms as well. I just had this done under warranty through the dealer. Think cost with alignment would of been $900.

My son also had this recently done on his 5th gen & the cost was substantial less through a shop we've been using for years. The control arms were about $150 for both & the install was I think around 240 with an alignment.
