I have a 2012 with just shy of 30k miles on it. I'm hearing a squeaking noise on the front left side when hitting bumps. It's not loud, but it's noticeable enough to be annoying. Also, I hear a squeak/rattle coming from the right side dash area that comes and goes over a few minutes time, and only sticks around for about 2-3 seconds then fades away. It does it whether the A/C is on or off.

It's still under the bumper to bumper, so I'll just take it to the dealership if need be to get it resolved. But if it's something I can handle, I'd rather resolve it myself. Does anyone have any ideas?

 

Squeaks when hitting bumps is more then likely just gas shocks/struts compressing. Which is normal

Probably not related but I had a rattle that sounded like it came from the passenger side area, but was actually the sunglasses holder up above
