Viper Smart Start

I know I found a ton of negative reviews on this system back when I first started thinking about getting it installed. I have had it for a while now and I have been using it daily. The only issue I have found, is if you unlock your car with the app and then don't go open and close the driver's door, the headlights will stay on and drain your battery. Its not really a big issue, I just use the button on the door or my key fob to unlock the doors instead now that I know of the issue.

As for the app, I was assured by my installer that the bugs in the program were now worked out. He did acknowledge that the complaints were certainly justified in the past, but that it works flawlessly now. I trust him so I did the 3 year service plan, which costs the same as paying for two years one year at a time. It has worked perfect everytime. I work in a building on the 5th floor and park my car in the basement parking garage, so a traditional remote even the longest range one would not work. Usually it takes less than 5 seconds for the app to tell me the car received the start command. It has never failed to start the car.

I just thought I would put that out there in case all everyone sees is the bad reviews from a while back.
