Unhappy LED Load Resistors?

Hi Guys,

I'm sorry if this is a duplicate thread, but I couldn't find the specific answer I was looking for anywhere in the forum. So here goes...I am installing switchback LEDs in the front turn signals and Red LEDs in the rear turn signals. I know that I will require load resistors but I am unsure as to how many and which ones I would need. From what I searched, I found that if I am doing just the rears or the fronts, I can use 50W 6OHM resistors and if I am doing all 4, I can use (2) 3OHM resistors. Problem is, I can't seem to find 3OHM resistors from reputable sites. Now my question is, can I just use (4) 50W 6OHM resistors connected to each bulb? Thanks in advance and sorry if this topic has been covered elsewhere, I was just unable to find it.

JLC 50W 3Ohm LED Load Resistors for LED Turn Signal or LED License Plate Lights - Fix Hyper Flash, Warning Notices https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AR12X4I/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_f5.nvb1HVWVY9

Bought these and they came in today. Haven't had the time to install yet will report back once hooked. For the record I have led switchback turn signals up front and Amber led turn signals in the rear. And bought one pair of 3ohm load resistors. If they won't work gonna return to amaon

If you're running LEDs in just the front or the rear then 2 - 6 ohm resistors installed where the LEDs are is all you need. If you're doing the front and backs you needs 4 - 3 ohm resistors, one installed at every LED. I found 3 ohm resistors on ebay for 3 dollars each.

Just grab a voltmeter and find out which is your parking light (constant), and which is switched (turn signal). That's the best sure-fire way!
