Angry Racingline ypipe!!!!

For All of you Maxima owners out there-
I purchase a racing line Y pipe over 5 weeks ago, & I just received an email saying he was canceling my order and that he had refunded my money last week which is a lie. For the last 3 weeks I've been trying to call and email about the delivery date and confirmation. I got 3 emails sent back to me one he was waiting for material, to he had a family emergency for the week, & 3 he felt that by me continuing to ask him about my order was threatening and he decided to cancel my order. he falsified the dates of delivery, my refund which I never received.PLEASE DO NOT FALL INTO THE SAME TRAP. Now I don't know if I'm ever going to see the 369.00 again, since I ordered 3 other products with the y pipe.

Sorry you had to go through that. I've had good luck with them in the past. My emails were answered quickly & items arrived soon after placing my orders. When I bought my front strut tower bar, the person I bought it from didn't provide the bolts that attach it to the car (bought mine used). I contacted Racingline & he sent them to me free of charge. I know others have had to wait a while for their items at times. Hopefully you guys can come to an understanding & work things out.

I'm sorry to here about your problem. I know from personal experience from them that it takes longer then three weeks for them to fab and send out a y pipe, especially since it comes from Canada. You can always see your money back you fill a claim with your bank. Please remember refunds can take up to 5 business days. I'm just speaking from personal experience.

That's surprisimg, I remember when I ordered the sway bar I contacted them once to get a tracking number, they very promptly responded with all info I needed. If you still want the parts, maybe you should send a calm email, and they'll help you out. I understand the frustration thougj

My dealings with them were good. You can always dispute with your card holder, but i think if you guys reset and deal with each other reasonably you ca get your needs met.

Racingline is run by one person I believe, and a lot of members have been experiencing delayed shipping and lack of communication from him. However, the products still arrive. I am wondering why he canceled your order, was it out of stock or did you request to cancel? Speak with your cardholder and present them your information.

you said 24 hours yesterday at noon. It's past 5pm here in New Jersey, and Still no shipping confirmation? I believe that this is a(n) disingenuous and dis-honorable attempt to fulfill my purchase. How am I to trust that the product I've ordered, has been completed? your offering to compensate my shipping for delays. but- that doesn't alter the fact that as your payed customer, your company's advertisement, (I.e. Web site I printed) states 24/48 hours and 7-10 business days, or just after, if outsourcing warehouses/Distribution. My Attorney wants me to file suit. I apologies for my eagerness, and fortitude. But I can Not continue in this direction. If my order is not underway by the close of business Joe- I will be filing first thing in the morning with my family Attorney.

Reads I want a refund in my language....... a bit of ADD in my humble opinion if I may say so.

Back story for those reading along with popcorn. The parts were slightly backorder and then I was called out of town for a week because my cousin decided to leap off a balcony. I had to fly out to handle family matters and did not spend much time on emails as I was obviously distracted. Upon returning to work midday Tuesday the following week I was obviously very back logged. The above excerpt was from an email dated thursday April 23, A refund was processed friday Apr 24. As mentioned above, credit card companies like to hold money for upto 5 days (which was conveyed to the customer when we "called me out" on stealing his money. To which his response was *apr 26 "My bank and the BBB will be in touch since none of these funds have been appropriated by my bank to my account. you should be receiving the dispute within the next 48-72 hours. It's out of my hands now. "......

Sh* happens, I'm not perfect and far from expedient a lot of them time. But going on 10years serving this community...... Racingline is FAR from a scam or "trap" as the OP puts it.

Anyways. whats done is done. I apologize to all who are waiting for parts, I should be caught up by the end of the week. 12 Ypipes shipped out friday and today with 4 more due out wednesday.

Hahahaha, I would have returned money as well.
Holy crap, threatening a lawsuit because a part didn't ship on his schedule....Jeez

OP: based on your first post, and that portion of the email, you need to calm way the hell down.

Id be just as pissed too. After all it is a business and your number one concern should always be customer service first.

DAmn sounds like you guys just need to talk this out. There is way too much stuff going on here to be in a public forum with it like this. Can you guys just get on the phone? I've never had an issue with Racingline not honoring a sale so maybe it's best to just talk it through.

That's what I had recommended.... As my dealings with TAZ have always been positive. Even when I needed parts for an item that was purchased used from someone else, he sent me out the parts free of charge.

Threatening someone with a lawsuit is a bit much.
