need help with parts

i have a 2010 maxima I have been looking in to exhaust and in take for weeks and really cant decide what ones to go with for the best sound and hp. I am in hopes someone can help me a bit

Skip the intake. It is sound, but looses power.
For cheaper, get the racing line y pipe.
For more expensive, get motor dyne y pipe.
Beyond that is just noise, and personal preference.

Yup...ypipe will not change sound but is best bang for buck. Intake sounds good but will drop power.

From what I have heard and seen, the y pipe DOES change the sound. The motordyne is MADE for our cars and is the best out right now but the racingline has been around and is also still loved................but BOTH will def change the sound. Not trying to be a **** but have NO IDEA what Corolla is talking about 98.9% of the time.

If you want a cheaper route you can have some Magna Flow mufflers installed at a local exhaust shop for around $300. If you want a good upgrade that you will really notice with the way the car rides is to get a rear sway bar, it will stop the floating like a boat at highway speeds. Good luck with your modding.
