I bought new hid bulbs and have the adapter for them but the bulbs don't screw into the housing and wanted to know if they sold clips for them or just squash the idea and get ones that fit? Thanks

 

assuming you have the right bulb from doing your research here, there is a gasket on the end of the actual bulb base that has to be folded down so it can seal against the housing when you screw the bulb into the receptacle. That will lock the bulb in place making it watertight.
