Hey everyone. Recently been thinking about getting a new front bumper for my 2009. It has a lot of scratches and wear and tear. Any suggestions on where to get an OEM one that isnt cheap. I see ones on ebay for around $250, but im nervous they will be cheap. Im also nervous that my paint will not match the rest of the car no matter what. Suggestions or should I just leave it alone?

 

I have always had mine painted to match at the body shop. First two where oem and last was 3rd party. I notice no difference with the aftermarket fit and finish after painting.

 

From experience I wish I would have gotten OEM but the shop did aftermarket.

Overall any of them look great but if you look closely you will see some flaws like....
That black hood seal wont sit right, some bumpers have a different bottom bar (under the grill), The latches wont close all the way causing the corners to stick out.

Not to discourage you but giving you tips. Plus I worked at a body shop back in the day.
