2012 Max with nav, well into my second year with it and twice in 4 weeks the screen goes blank like it was turned off. Just listening to sirius xm radio I stop for lunch get back in the car after driving an hour and some change and no display. Sound worked though. It was hot and not in the shade. Yesterday drove less than 15 minutes. I parked in the shade this time and 45 minutes later it did it again no display. Couple of hours later screen is back. Anyone else experience this.

 

This has happened to me a couple times. I turned the car off then back on & the screen came back on.

Another time the USB connection was not recognizing my iPhone....changed the wire & no luck. I then disconnected the battery to reset the system & after hooking power back up, the USB worked correctly.

No problem. It hasn't happened in a long time. I had actually totally forgotten about it until I saw your post.

Electronics sometimes do weird things....I remember backing out of a parking spot & then driving away. While driving forward the rear view camera was still engaged. I thought that was pretty funny. That only happened once.

 

I had this happen once last year when it was ridiculously hot outside. I shut it down for a few mins then restarted and it was fine and have never had a problem since. 11SV
