Control arm required for spring drop?

I read a few threads saying control arms/camber kit may be a necessary addition when lowering the car with eibach springs? I don't want to go and attempt to put my springs on and not be able to do so. Thank you.

you won't have any issues installing the springs, however, you'll definitely want to do an alignment afterwards, and if any of your suspension is worn, go ahead and replace it first. you'll be happy you did. old suspension with a drop is failures waiting to happen

I'm not sure where you got the info about dropping the control arms. I did not have to do that installing my BC Coilovers.

Rear camber arms, not control arms, is what you might need.

Just to clarify, the eibach or SPC camber arms will have enough adjustment to correct any camber necessary? And the newer ones don't require any cutting since they have made the adjustment in factory?

That should be correct.

Correct! You will need to drop the control arm to install the new Springs and you will need to replace the rear camber arms and toe bolts to get your car within spec, at least in the rear

Confused

So I was looking into the eibach camber kits and came across two that claim to be eibach for the 7th gen. I don't want some half a** part on my car, which is the correct piece?

They would both probably work, but the second one is the one we are all familiar with.
