Nitehawk down....
Nitehawk down....CVT Failure
Hi All, it is with sad news that i just got the call no nissan owner wants to get, that their child has a going bad CVT. :-( Only had the car a year and only put on 13k miles, only at 49,454 now. Nissan engineers determined that pressures were bad and they will be replacing my cvt under warranty. So Kenny if you dont see me this weekend thats why :-(
I was always afraid of being added to this list. But to be honest i love my maxima, and this is not deterring me from keeping it after the cvt replacement. Ill keep you all posted with the technical data. Good news is i got the p0101 code fixed and they updated my ecu last week. Spoiler comes n today and looking forward to getting her back.

Agreed. While I don't have many miles yet on mine I pound the crap out of it every time I drive it and have zero issues with anything on that car. I feel for you guys hearing about all these problems you encounter. My Z28 is the same way zero issues 97k on it gets its *** handed to it every time I drive it. My integra has 230k and its got virtually no issues other than needing a clutch, not the cars fault. My boys TL is the same way no issues way over 100 on his. And they're known for tranny issues. End of the day it's as previously stated, the unluck of the draw.
