out of the 2009 and in the 2011
Yep a week ago today on the way to work someone decided to make a u-turn into the side of my Maxima...

It wasn't major but requires $3,100 worth of repairs, nothing mechanical just cosmetic, door and right front fender are being replaced along with the lower rocker panel.
So since I was having the work done at my local dealership I wandered around and boom found the Tuscan Sun with Premium Package staring me down....
I always wanted the Tuscan Red back in 2009 but it was impossible to find, fact is this the only Tuscan Red in AZ for the moment and this one was dealer traded from So. Cal.
So what the he** I went ahead and bought it, I really like my 2009 and it is my DD, keeps the miles off my Cayman and has provided me with excellent fuel economy (24 MPG avg for over 22 months) and reliability, something my wife's BMW has failed to provide to date. It's an upgrade from my base SV however I don't like the non fold down rear seats and the loss of my sunglass holder but I guess I can survive.

sweet! only a35 owners will trade for another newer, a35.
Kinda like when I had my ka9 acura legend coupe, had it for 10 years and still looked for the same car after i sold it... this will be the case with the a35

Now can someone tell me why the HECK Nissan removed the inside handle on the trunk hatch? My 2009 has a little plastic handle to grab and close the trunk, my 2011 has nothing. I can't believe a $40K car and they remove a .75 part...
Got an awesome deal, no money left my pocket, I got $8,500 in equity on my 09, Nissan $3K rebate plus they refunded what was left of my Gold service package another $1300 that really reduced the overall price significantly. I lowered my monthly payment and got a better equipped car. What's even more bizarre is BMW Finance provided a better interest rate than Nissan...

Very odd that they got rid of the trunk closure handle. Maybe it was just forgotten at the factory?
Might want to take the inside trunk cover off and see if there's some holes there. Definitely a nice thing to keep finger prints off the lid when you close it.
I went from 09 to 11 also and when I realized that little handle wasn't in the trunk lid I just thought it was a forgotten install.... Even asked dealer about it and they couldn't really answer why it was gone. Glad to see I'm not the only one who realized it's missing in the 11.

what i love more than GTMassive's stance though is his paint job. ive seen a few other paint jobs that try to do something like it but his is the best by far.
The Auto Body shop is in Long Island, the guy does really good work, but it comes with a high cost...roof,hood,front & back bumper, upper and lower grille painted ,lip install and painted cost me $2000. I also told him what black paint to use ...
