Brand new 2014s for $20,000?

Is this really true? I love the 16's, but my bank account says different right now. lol

$10-13K of MSRP is TOO good for me to pass up on a brand new Max. Is there a catch somewhere?

Seems about right for a 2014 S model. I expect an SV would go for $3-$4K more.

That's what I paid. Less than 4 cylinder Accord and Camry. Plus you get a moonroof.

Where do you still see the 2014 with the incredible discount? I thought they were all gone?

I bought mine back in January 2015 for 12K under MSRP.

Let me know which dealers have them a friend of mine is shopping for a new car.

That is a great deal, but at the same time it exactly why i'm so bitter. I have a 2012 Maxima SV w/Sport Pkg, 74,000km, and i'm trying to get out of my lease to either buy a new Maxima or Q50. They are telling me that my car is only worth $13k on trade, and will sell on the market for about $17k. This has got me absoulutley furious, as i still owe $25k for the car. I may have paid too much in the begening by not saving thousands of the MSRP back in 2012 when i bought it. It was MSRP'd for $42k Canadian. After just 3 yrs and 74,000km, they are telling me that it's not even worth the Residual value at the end of my lease. Now why would i still feel compelled to buy another Maxima or even any other Nissan product? This depreciates more than domestics. Sorry for the Rant, but needed to vent.

keep in mind that the 2014's are going for 13-17k at auction. The resell on these things suck. I wanted to ditch mine until I came to this sobering moment. So I will drive it till the wheels fall off.

This is why I always say buy this car new/used 1 to 3 yrs old instead of brand new, the resale value sucks ***** compared to a comparable Avalon, TL etc. If you do buy brand new buy with the huge discounts mentioned above otherwise no way.

A lot of it has to due with how many Nissan has sold to fleet companies in recent years (Hertz and Enterprise/National), whenever I'm out of town on business National has tons of them on the lots. A lot of those end up at auctions after a certain mileage to be sold cheap. Almost every 7th gen I see has those dreaded stickers on the rear side window signifying its a rental or prior one.
