Looking to install fog lights in my S. What's involved? Will I need to install a switch on steering wheel or dash?

If going for OEM...The fog light switch is on the turn signal switch like here. It's the inner most barrel on the switch. Headlight barrel -> Indicator line -> Fog light barrel

Your car may already be wired for fog lights. Check behind the front bumper for the wiring loom. If it is all you'd have to do is get the lights, and put in the proper size fuse.

If its not, going OEM is too complicated a job, (at least for my skill level). I would recommend you get the lights you want, install them and mount a separate toggle switch under the dash.

^^^This. By far the easiest. There should be plenty of open slots in the dash where you could add a nice toggle switch. Check near where your left knee would be.

I installed a factory kit in my S a couple months ago and it was simple. No wiring just changing out the switch on the column and installing the lights, took around an hour because I tried to install the fogs without dropping the bumper then realized I needed to.

Would you kindly be able to point me in the direction of the parts you used and where you acquired them? Most notably the column switch? Many thanks

Also,

If I purchased new OEM fogs, what all else would I need to complete the conversion? Thank you kindly

the fog light kit for $218.75 + shipping from courtesyparts.com comes with everything you need for the install. Need to buy the bulbs. I went ahead and bought a HID kit. My 09 S model was prewired for fogs. I would check to make sure the wiring is already there. Installing the column switch was easy. Installing the fog light with the brackets was a pain in the but since I did it w/o removing the front bumper...otherwise, it would have been a lot easier.

*just found these for almost 1/4 of the price...no column switch =

I came across the column switch on e-bay on a deal. I didn't get OEM fogs, I just got a set off e-bay, think I paid less than $130 for everything. The kit from courtesyparts.com is a very good deal because all the parts are OEM. If you have the switch fogs with the bracket and bulbs that should be it, the wiring is already in the car so everything is plug and play.

I installed OEM fog lamps in about 20 minutes.
All wiring was already there. I just plugged in the new lights.
The new turn signal stalk was not difficult either.
Everything was about $200.
