BMC CDA air intake

Finally I managed to install the intake that I was having for a while.
This setup will get you as close to a CAI or true CAI for our 7th gen.

I wish they came up with a true cold air for the 7th gen. It seems once the CVT came to play the aftermarket disappeared. Such a shame because the 7th gen is the best looking Maxima IMO.

Agree, and to your point about the 7th gen being the best looking Maxima - - from what I saw in the advertisement email Nissan sent me for the new Altima, one could argue that it looks better than the new Maxima. And that's coming from a Maxima guy through and through.

I could be very premature in saying this but that's exactly what I thought; it appeared to be wider on the hood with a lower, more aggressive stance. Should be interesting to see how it pans out.

It works perfect. You can feel the throttle more responsive and the sound is mean.

Can you give specifics of what model this is, where you ordered and what modifications were necessary to make this happen? really interested on going this route. Currently have a R2C intake which I'm thinking of removing.
Thanks for posting, looks good.

These are the specs for the filter:
CDA-Carbon Dynamic Airbox -
ACCDASP-11
Engine over 1600cc
ACCDA85-150
D1-82
D2-150
Both of them will work with our setup.
The only place you can get this is by going on the BMC website and find out which resellers they have in your area or close.
The pipe for the MAF I got it from a friend's Altima. It's a KN Typhoon system pipe. He totalled his car and I took that piece for me. That was the hardest part to source let's say.
The front piece is a Specter flex pipe that I bought in Autozone and used it to route the intake out behind the grill for maximum cold air intake.
Hope this helps.
