First off, not a mechanic....change oil and that kind of stuff but nothing serious. Apparently my coil spring broke in the front passenger side. There are 110k on my 09 Maxima. Mechanic says, replace them both and do the struts and strut mount. $1,000. All OEM parts. My question is, for a daily driver should I buy something different as far as struts? I have SACHS on the back that are a year old. Thanks in advance.

 

Just ask the mechanic to use the aftermarket sachs so the dampers all match.
