what would be the biggest size wheel and low profile tire you could put on 2012 nissan maxima sv sport package ?

22s fit, but lift the car and make the spedometer off, and usually look silly.
21s are the biggest where you can get a tire that keeps the speedo correct and doesn't lift the car. (245/30/21)
20s are where most people are happy.

 

I agree. 20's make the most sense in practicality. Anything else, and you have to make additional mods that can complicate things. Some shops won't install wheels larger than 20 inches because of this. In my humble, a 7th Gen Maxima on 20's looks awesome. I'd buy 20's and take the extra cash and get a performance exhaust if you don't have one already.
