Getting side mirrors with turn signals

I recently got a 2014 Maxima S. Been wanting to make some changes to make it more like an SV. Where can I find the side mirrors with turn signals? Is the dealer the best place to get this installed? And I'm guessing the ones that the SV has are LED, correct?

From what I've read (I searched our forum and a few others and maybe I'm wrong) but the car's not pre-wired to just swap out the base mirrors for the ones with the turn signals in them... you can buy them from dealer/fleabay/craigs/etc. but the end plugs on those mirrors won't match our base model cars main harness.

I've been wanting the same upgrade - and unless I'm able to tap into the turn signal line somewhere and run it to the mirror myself, or replace the entire wiring harness on the inside of the car to match the signal mirrors - I'm outta luck

Also, a couple people reported problems with water getting into their turn signal mirrors so they took the car in for warranty and they have been replaced - you never know if the used item you are getting was a problem to someone else - but i guess that goes with anything used...

You can however (and again the forum will correct me if I'm wrong) buy and install fog lights - the car was pre-wired for those and you just have to replace the turn signal/washer handles in the car - here's a link to the everything you need on fleabay http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-2015-Ni...9W11EA&vxp=mtr

Hey, nice timing! I was just about to post a separate thread exclusively about fog lights haha. I still will to get recommendations on bulbs, but figure I'll ask the easy questions with you. I see similar pricing from my local Nissan dealership:

I did not know it included the new turn signal handles - that makes sense now why it asked on the dealer site (link above) if the car had auto lights (which it does). Any idea why the fog light installation requires the handle to be replaced?

And is it basically just removing the black plastic filler piece and putting in the fog light assembly/bulb and changing out the turn signal handle? The dealer wanted like $264 to do the installation. My local GoodYear quoted $40 if it didn't require installing any wiring. The 2014 S is pre-wired, yeah? It's just plug and play for the fogs?

Plug and play from what I've heard... and there's a thread somewhere about how to remove the bumper cover, install the lights, put the cover back on and then install the new interior piece and you're done. Definitely something that can be done at home with minimal tools...

Here's the link

Steen, it was you that mentioned that your driver's seat moves a little right?

I took it to the dealer today, they are replacing the entire thing today under the warranty. If you are still within your 36K mile warranty, I'd give it a shot...

sadly i'm at 37k so no luck there...

bummed - there's just so many little things that bug me about this car - tough to really like it... thankfully drivetrain is solid - guess I have to live with the little stuff...
