Thoughts on this Ipad dashboard mount?

Ideally Id like to mount it on the (somewhat) flat part right above the HVAC. Where the red circle is in this picture.
It looks flexible enough to be slid up and down when I need to see the temp settings, Im just not sure if the suction cup will be too wide for the section above the HVAC

My setup is similiar I use mount.
I have the power hidden and working on hiding the RCA's waiting for the weater to get warmer.
The nice thing about that mount is that I keep it slightly higher -- so I am still able to see my HVAC digits.
I will post a pic when I go out for lunch.

Good luck affixing those things to the cars dash.
3M double sided tape wouldn't even work
a) nothing is flat enough
b) the texture of the plastic is like almost unstickable
I went for a suction cup that had the heal-able 'gel' that you put water on to make it 'new' again.
