Vibrating noise in the rear.
Vibrating noise in the rear.
Can anyone tell me if they have had any issues regarding vibrating noise coming from the rear of the vehicle? I was told by my local Nissan Dealership that it was the rear wheel bearings. I replaced it and am still hearing the noise.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

So you replaced both bearings and still hear the noise? Does it change in pitch with the speed of the car? Do you feel any vibration or pulsing in the brake pedal (possible disc problem.) Any mods to the suspension or wheels?
Otherwise, I would rotate the tires and see if the noise/vibration changes.

I tend to be a "replace in pairs" kind of guy. If I replace one wheel bearing, I replace (as a minimum) the other side. Same for shocks, brakes, tires, discs, etc. There are some exceptions but would suggest you replace the other bearing as well.
I am having a similar problem like this aswell... I have a noise coming from the back right of my vehicle. It sounds almost like chain links hitting each other, or a bunch of nails clinging together. I got Nissan to check it out and got the classic dealership saying: "Our mechanics didn't hear a noise on the road test." -- They said to clean the exhaust. Done. STILL HEAR NOISE. I said, check out the rear sway bar bushings & links.. they replaced it. STILL HEAR NOISE. I cleaned out my trunk area where the spare is, found nails. Drove around, STILL HEAR NOISE!
This sound is very annoying, if anyone knows what it could possibly be please let me know. I have a hunch it's the jack and crank hitting against each other but at the same time how can it be because there is Styrofoam separating both.
PLEASE HELP ME OUT! THANKS!
