"semi" rough idle

My new (to me) 09 Maxima seems to have a bit of a rough idle. From what I gather about it, it likes to idle smoothly at about 600 -650 rpm's. When I'm stopped, either in drive with the foot on the brake or in park, it will idle at 600 smoothly, then jump up to about 700-800 and then drop to 500 where it sounds a little rough for a second or two. This will repeat itself every 10-15 seconds. This happens with the a/c on. When the a/c is off, it will only happen every 30-45 seconds, if at all. Do you guys think this could be an electrical issue? Do you think the racingline grounding kit might solve this issue?

Let me know your thoughts, THANKS!

Welcome aboard!Sounds like a dirty MAF sensor or a dirty throttle body. There are some thread on here about it. Good luck.

odd, since the a/c jumps the idle higher when its on! Are you sure its just not the a/c system making it jump on when the compressor kicks on? that is what it sounds like to me and it is normal
