Do you have turn signal indicators in the side mirrors and a BOSE stereo? If yes you have a SV.

You can put your VIN# in the Nissan Recall Site http://www.nissanusa.com/recalls-vin/?dcp=ppn.63023882.&dcc=0.240189300&gclid=CPn3payQv 8wCFUZrfgodHHsBgA&gclsrc=aw.ds#/

You can count the number of speakers. The S has 8 speakers and the SV has 9. One each in the doors, 3 on the front deck and two on the rear deck.

Sounds like you have the SV Sport, if it has paddle shifters, 19 in wheels, and a non fold down back seat.

The S has only 2 speakers on the front deck, the SV has 3. What do you have, Also does your back seat fold down? Lastly your sun roof is it the panoramic one where almost the whole roof is glass.

How does an S have side mirrors with LED turn signals? I thought that wasn't possible.

I was told that the S was not pre-wired for it, so it would be very expensive...

Why would you trust what an insurance agent told you over Nissan? Leather and mirrors with turn signals equal SV.

The only packages that had paddle shifters on the SV was the Sport or Premium package.

OP, why don't you post some pictures of your car so we can take a look.

I'm with Team SV. It's an SV without Premium or Sport packages. An SV will have halogen headlights, while the Premium or Sport both have HID. The other SV package option is SV Tech, but that would have nav which the OP stated it does not.

I'm on team sv too. You can google the original sales brochure and it will break down available options for the S and SV model and hopefully can help!

Sounds like the OP has the SV without any package. He does not have paddle shifters so it is not an SV Sport, and he does not have dual panel moon roof, so it's not the Premium Edition Package. All other equipment he lists that the car has comes with the SV.

Partially true, All SV's had HIDs standard for the 2014 model year. It was also available on the S model if you got the limited edition package.

For the 2009-2013 model year you only got HID's on the SV model if you got the premium or sport package. You could also get HID's on a non-premium or non-sport SV by adding the technology package, in this case HID's would be added automatically. If you don't have these packages you would have halogen headlights.

True I have the 2012 S model and I have HIDs...I honestly think the S model with the limited edition package was a better buy than the SV without any package...that limited edition package gave me HIDs, fogs, turn signal indicators in the side mirrors, dark finish 18inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, and unique interior trim pieces with the look of faux metal....the HIDs were a huge plus for me

the limited edition S version. I thought I had an SV with all red leather seats with the smoked taillights 2014 maxima but I don’t have bose or paddle shifters and the wheels are 18 so I think I have an S
