Racingline RASB snapped in two

My Racingline RASB snapped this morning. Heard it banging on my exhaust pipe. Has anyone else had this happen? I liked how it improved my handling, but not so sure its smart to go back to a part that breaks. Is there another brand that works better? Stillen?

I have the Stillen and have had no issues. I would make Racingline compensate you some way shape or form for a failed product. Is your car lowered?

Thanks Dmcmahan12 for the support. We at Stillen have been producing parts for over 20+ years. All of our products are made and tested here in the USA. If you would like a rear Sway bar for your car let me know. I'll be glad to help you out.

Both Racingline and stillen have had bars snap on the L32 and A35 platforms (same sway bar).

The Racingline offers a free lifetime warranty and is independently tested to be stronger than the stillen.

But from reading about Racinglines sketchy delivery date is enough for me to stay away. He asked about a Stillen product and I told him my experience. So have a nice day.

Made in USA.

Stillen had a press release on one of the other forums saying they redesigned their bar to address the issue. The racingline bar was made simply stronger. To date there has been 4 total that have broken out of 100's sold.

**** happens, thats what warranties are for.

If those stats are correct lets say 4 failures per 500 sold then that would be 2000 per every million. Where I worked last that would be considered a bad supplier and would be cut off.

Curious as to what Stillen has to say about this. I haven't had my Stillen bar too long, and so far so good.

To be honest, I've never heard of the RSB snapping on a Maxima. I'm sure this is a one off incident with no fault to whatever brand manufactured the product.

The issue we've had in the past was the Sway bar snapping on the Altima's. That was because we designed it off the oem specs and realized that even the OEM came with flaws. We did re-release it our engineering dept making improvements to correct that problem.

Below is the link to our re-designed bar for the Altima.

I have the Racingline RSB and I couldn't be more satisfied. I had zero shipping issues when I ordered mine. It came from Canada in about a week or so. To the OP, if yours broke contact the owner and I am sure he will make it right.

Not sure why there seems to be so much drama surrounding this issue. **** happens people. Both stillen and racingline make good products. Pick one and move on its not that serious.

I've got 100k miles on my Racingline to date. No problems besides a little squeezing from the bushings.

Do you guys have any discounts for maxima.org members? Thinking about getting my "Nismo 'B'" project build going here soon
