I just picked up a 2009 SV and love it so far! I was looking at the tires and realized they are not the stock size... The car currently has 235/40 R18 Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position tires on it and I can't figure out why... I get that these would have a 'slimmer' profile over stock, but can anyone else figure out why someone would choose these? I did a quick search and didn't see others on here running that size. Any thoughts?

 

That is a lot smaller than stock. Someone was being cheap and bought something on sale/clearance/left in stock.

I would get rid of them and put on properly sized tires.
