Tap into column wires with remote switch. No need for upgraded multi-function switch. Hope this helps.

Am I tagging any wires if so which ones? I'd like to have the on off run independent on the OEM fog light switch.

The wires in schematic connect to the light control computer. Output from comp. is a low volt signal. Comp. is looking for return voltage to turn on lights. Do not hook up a 12v powered switch to this, it damage the electronic module. If a totally independent system is what is wanted, new wire harness will be needed

If you need to know wires in schematic,
wire 8 LG/B light green / blue stripe
wire 10 P/B pink / blue stripe

I'm not looking at car, so I believe these are the right colors for wire code.

I looked up wire codes, and the B is black stripe.

I used this schematic on my 12 sv, and found it to turn on park lights. Looking closely at diagram there is a note at bottom that it is in the first light position, even though it looks like fogs should come on. The first position is parking lights
The wires that turned on fogs are Red/Yellow, Green/Yellow.

Sorry for misleading anyone. I wanted to correct this as soon as possible.
