Recently (last 3/4 days) my trunk has been releasing on its own. I was able to trace it back to the headlight switch. In both "auto" mode or when turned on, the trunk release mechanism is triggered.

Background: (Possibly Unrelated)

Aftermarket HIDs lights are `7 years old and recently drivers side light had been working intermittently. A quick flick to off and back on was working to get the light on.

Ive also recently noticed the "auto" headlight function is not working as well.... What I mean here is sometimes when I would consider it light enough the auto lights are still being turned on. Since experiencing the issue with the trunk... the sensitivity of "auto" light function seems to be working better.
