looking for some help. My Maxima is showing this code. The car runs and drives fine. Also shifts fine in both automatic and manual. I have seen fixes to this that include disconnecting the paddle shifters, but I don't have those.

any other suggestions?

Any luck? Just had the same code.My mechanic pointed it out during an oil change. I do not have a check engine light. I have a 2014 maxima.

 

If all the connections are good (and there are a few) the FSM calls for replacing the TCM. A bit draconian, but you should cause a Check Engine Light to come on. I am more a bit surprised that someone would connect a code scanner up during an oil change without any Check Engine Light on.
