Wheel Spacers

i know this topic has been discussed but if I put 15mm type 2 spacers (built in studs) on my max will i have to put in shorter studs or cut the existing ones so that they dont stick out past the 15mm width of the spacer?

I put 15mm on the front and 20mm on the rear. I used the Ichiba v1 (single floating) spacers. I pressed in the new longer studs in but it is VERY important that you torque your wheels to manufacture specs (85lbs for the max). After about 100 miles re-torque your wheel lugs and your golden.
