High pitch sound while accelerating +60mph

Hi All

I am new to this forum and I wanted to share the problem I am facing with my maxima 2013 seeking if anyone could help.

when I run the car for like 15 mins and it gets fully warmed up, I start hearing a high pitch noise (somehow like a supercharge sound) when I strongly accelerate by fully pushing the gas pedal. I honestly dont know whether this is a normal noise or not as i recently noticed it. please see the video I attached to clearly hear it.

ran 120000 km/75000 miles
still under warranty
car is always regularly serviced at the agency every 6K miles/10Km

Appreciating if anyone can help me or if anyone is having the same issue

I want at least to know whether this is coming from the engine, the CVT, the air intake, or else.

regards

Sounds like the power steering pump to me. If it is, you can get a somewhat "quieter" version (without the nice exhaust sound) by downshifting. I recently replaced mine and the new one definitely has that "whine."

It should be fine. Just keep an eye out for leaks!

Has the transmission fluid ever been replaced? If you are at 75K and it hasn't it might just need a drain and fill with NS-2. Mine had a slight whine at WOT when I bought it with 58K miles on the clock, not as severe as your video depicts but mine did go away after I changed the fluid.

my dad has the exact same sound on his 2011 SV with 50k miles. He took it to the dealer who said that the CVT fluid was fine, they "reprogrammed" something with the fuel and air and my dad said it reduced the sound by 50%. I have no idea what they "reprogrammed" but that is what he told me.

Exclamation Solved

Ok guys, especially who is facing the same issue, I came back with news and updates from the agency. After they have tested the car multiple times, they have confirmed that the issue is from the transmission and it has to be replaced with a new one. Luckily my extended warranty is still valid. The replacement will cost around 6000 $ FYI

So if anyone is hearing the same noise and is still having a warranty go to the dealer and get a new transmission installed

and by the way, a guy from the agency told me that the CVT transmission oil is a lifetime oil and shouldnt be changed or refilled, is that true? coz i saw in your comments telling me about refilling the transmission oil..

Service and Maintenance Manual says to change the CVT oil at 60,000 mile intervals.

the cvt fluid absolutely needs to be maintained as all fluids in all cars do. Different maintenance intervals, but maintained nonetheless.
