Strut upgrade

I've got 70k on my max and I'm looking to upgrade the Oem struts. Any suggestions?

I am also thinking about a strut/shock upgrade but have read that if you have lowered your car like I did with Eibach pro street springs that you need to put that into the equation. What do I need to buy to make it work or will just normal aftermarket struts work?
Have no idea yet what make to use but I don't want to radical a ride, just a bit firmer than stock.

I am not sure that these Monroes are for lowering springs but they are better than oem for a non floaty feel and they last longer too! Never seen oem dampers toast at 50K miles.

I have been spending hours online looking at struts and am surprised that almost no brands fit the 09 max. All I see is Monroe and some other brands I have never heard of. I would like to get a set of Koni's or Bilsteins but they don't seem to make for our car. Any ideas on a good strut shock combo that is better than oem?

Yeah KYB rear struts have a 1 yr warranty? WTF? I wish Tein still made H tech springs for this car, would be perfect.
