Hello Maxima family. Does anyone know how to remove the rear seats and passenger seat in a 7th gen maxima? I would go out and try it on mine but before I make a mistake and screw up I rather ask lol. thank you!

 

On the ones without fold-down rear seats, to remove the bottom of the rear seat there is a plastic ring at the bottom front on each side. Pull it forward and it releases the catch and the whole bottom comes out pretty quick. The back has a few bolts that are now exposed. Remove those and then you push down HARD from the top of the seat back near the headrests. There is a metal loop on the back of the seat that catches behind a metal tab and you have to push the seat down to release it.

Not sure on the ones with fold down rear seats, but there are some videos on Youtube that show it. Same for the passenger seat.

 

Do you know if the non-folding seats are able to be swapped with 60/40 split seats?
