Wheel bearing brands

Could someone please recommend a front wheel bearing hub brand which they have had good luck with. The brand name and price range is very large and I’m hoping to get some mileage out of the replacements. Thanks

I think they’re hit or miss. I replaced my fronts with timkens three years ago and they went bad this month, I replaced one with a prime choice brand bought from Amazon for 36$ and so far so good. So now Im going to buy the other one lol
hit or miss.

Ouch. I just bought the Timkens through Rock Auto. Thanks for the replies! The Amazon prices were all over the place which is why I asked, and forget about buying locally. As much as I believe in supporting local businesses, my local Auto Parts store was charging more for one Timkens than I could buy 2 for online.

Timken is the OEM supplier. Other than them I would go with SKF if available.

I went to a local parts store (NAPA I think) and ordered 2 SKF's. When they came in, one was made in China and one was made in the US...same packaging and everything. When I compared them, the US made one appeared to be significantly better quality. The store was able to order in another one that said made in the US on it. The price wasn't any different than what I could get online. Sometimes it's better to shop local

My bearings have been fine but I went ahead and did a replacement of all 4 after 407,000 miles (I like to work outside here in Florida in our "winter") while I replaced a CV axle that was throwing grease everywhere. Pretty simple and I notice no changes from old to new bearing but I shopped a little and found 10 year warranty bearings from TRQ. I figured I could risk it and keep the old ones as a standby! When I got them, I felt what I thought was a little rough bearing on one of the fronts; told AM Autoparts about it and in just a few days, a replacement showed up! Great customer service. Time will tell how well they last (I only plan on another 93,000 until I get a new maxima.)
