Ticking after mass air flow sensor 2010
Im getting a ticking after a new installed MAF. It only does it on starts in the morning. It gets louder during acceleration and goes away after about 15 seconds. Any ideas? No issues with car except the noise.

Ticking as in tappet or lifter ticking? Does it only do it during movement or all the time. I don't think the MAF would have anything to do with that but a little more descriptive terms or perhaps a sound clip might help.

only during acceleration on cold starts, it gets louder with acceleration and goes away after 10-15 seconds. Random. Maybe a few starts a week.

So you never had this "Ticking' before the Maf install? Maf has no moving parts...2 Torqs and a connector... You still have the stock oem air tube or aftermarket Cai?
