MY 2010 SV has been having a Vacuum issue for the past 2yrs (check engine light) the code is related to Vacuum system. Solenoids, sensors, gas cap, smoke test at the dealership, even replaced the Charcoal canister which was no small feat and still light comes back on. Anyone out there have the same issue? Car runs great just wont pass emissions test.

Try some lithium grease around the seal of the gas cap and make sure you are using an oem cap. I havent had an issue with mine since.

 

I am going to buy some today. Wondering what did you try first and how you came to this conclusion?

 

Back in the early 90s with my F150. Same symptoms, an after market gas cap and just happened to notice the scratches and dings from fueling. I knew that sensors used differential pressure so thought I would ensure a good seal. Fast forward to 2015 and started experiencing the same codes. Got an oem cap and lithium grease and voila!

 

I had the same issue with my 2011 SV. Have the intake manifold cleaned with a BG system. It costs about $150. It fixed all my warnings.
