shake and ps wine (not involved with shake)

I got an 09 and I bought it used with 188k. A lot of miles for a cvt but the damn thing ran and drove amazing. I didn’t realize it was lowered. So when I was looking at it I saw the cv axle boots were completely gone. I wasn’t worried about it cuz I was jus gonna replace them. After I did I got a crazy shake on acceleration then I warranty swapped them at autozone and nothing changed. Now the shake is the entire car. I’ve had people look at it and confused. The next thing I’m gonna do is bushing bcuz I’m pretty the bottom trans mount is ****ed so I’m gonna look at it more and hopefully find the problem. I’ve been having this shake since late august and I was looking and looking and looking for a forum that describe the same thing I’m experiencing and I couldn’t find anything. Now to the ps wine. A couple weeks ago my serp belt blew so I replaced it and when I did everything was good but then I put it on a lift and looked and it seems like the belt shredded before it comepletely broke bcuz it wrapped in my ps pump pulley and now it’s wining it’s not a wine like the pumps bad it’s a wine like it’s binding. It’s so hard to describe sorry for the book.

Yeah I know. I jus really don’t want to drop the money on the thing anymore. I’ve drove the thing 1500 miles and have already dropped 350$ in parts. ****in insane

Vibration only on accel? Nothing during cruise or decell? It may well be the bushings or mount. Re the shredded belt, i went thru a few before i replaced my PSpump.

If I jus let it cruise no. Nothing when I let off. It’s weird cuz it didn’t do it til I changed the axles but I’ve seen several things say that autozone axles are good as a temp fix but I’m lowered so it might be that. Idk tho I’m jus gonna replace them with one from a salvage yard or something. The ps pump is fine that’s why I’m confused. I don’t think it’s that cuz if it was it would wining consistently and it’s only wining when turning and it honestly sounds like a problem with the rack bcuz it gets worse turning left than right and sometimes it’ll jus stop wining all together. So I jus gotta mess with it a little and see.

I do have an autozone axle on my left front (and no issues at all with it after 60,000 miles) but because your issues are more on the acceleration side. I think you were right on track with a mount issue.

Shredding belts is a pulley alignment issue, they dont self destruct without a reason (unless you installed it incorrectly) and the ps pump is the one I feel is the least sturdy. Note it doesnt have to leak to wobble or shift alignment. Best of luck and please do let us know what you find.

so I raced the car of the front up a little and the shaking isn’t as serious. I’m assuming the axles were binding and now I can have a decent ride while driving. The ps has gotten worse. Idk if I should be looking at the pump or rack bcuz the wheels hard as hell to turn left like I’m binding the rack and is smooth to the right(still whines tho) I’m boutta jus replace the pump and rack and see what the does. The whine is verging loud it’s not something that’s jus minimal. It’s the weirdest thing. I don’t think a belt can do that. I hit a bump a couple weeks ago hard as hell cuz I didn’t see it (my front coil overs are stiff and nonadjustable) and it make it worse so I’m taking it as the rack is messed up. Gonna jus pull the rack and see what’s up with it to see if I can see anything. Not really too pressed about it tho jus gotta get the time to do it.
