2012 maxima. Clicking constantly as if starter is trying. Interior lights flickering. Half the battery is gone. All if a sudden i woke up to this issue. Car remote doesn't matter at all. Let me know if anyone had this happen.

 

You probably need a new battery.

 

Jump-starting worked. Lost all my settings. Didn't know a low battery would have signs and symptoms like this. I've never seen the start button flicker rapidly like that. Anyways, will checkout the battery aisle and hope for the best.

 

This car does weird stuff when the battery is old and weak. A new battery should get you fixed up.
