New here hope all doing well!
Since i bought my car 2012 maxima noticed that the seat belt light never came on, not at any position of start!
Tried many times to find out the issue and nothing hooked it up on scanner and no codes were found,
The air bag lights works just fine.
Any thoughts would be great full for you?

 

Does the seat-belt warning light show up on the dash when you cycle the start switch without pressing on the brake pedal ( not starting the car, but getting all dash lights to come on)

Check the wiring under the seats. The driver's seat-belt wiring might have been changed to prevent the warning light from coming on by a doofus previous owner.

 

Back when I had my Maxima 97 with a broken instrument cluster, got 1 used with the same approximate mileage and that previous "doofus" owner went all the way to even remove the seat belt bulb from the cluster itself!

 

Go in your car sit in the driver seat don't put on the seat belt, have someone sit on the passenger side don't put on the seatbelt, now start your car and if you see the seatbelt light on in the dash then you have a problem with the sensor on your driver's side seat belt buckle.
