2009-2013 vs. 2014 front suspension

I have a pair of struts for a 2013 SV non-sport, and was looking at a '14 (also SV non sport), but noticed the struts aren't the same for a '14. Is it just the valving is changed for 1 year only? What else is different about a '14 that would require a different strut?

I have a '14. I've been wondering the same too.
There are only a limited selection of struts available for the 2014-15's.

Checked out Courtesy Nissan parts and they have different part numbers. On Rock Auto all the 3rd party struts for the 14s were the same as the earlier ones. But there were fewer offerings for the 14.
