I had replace my front OEM struts with loaded Monroe struts from advance and the ride was worse/stiffer than with my OEM. I tried replacing the springs on the Monroes with my OEM springs, but failed on the attempt. I ended up buying loaded struts from Advance which carries the Carquest premium brand, because those were the only ones i could find in stock today. I know the Carquest brand is a cheaper brand than Monroe, but i can tell you that the car drives smoother over bumps just as my OEM struts did when they were good. Probably won't last as long as the Monroes, but i had no other choice as i needed it the car fixed today. Will probably swap them with KYBs in the future, but i wanted to share my experience with the lower end Advance brand.
