Drivers door handle opens but with hack

Drivers door handle opens but with hack
Hey guys, I have a 09 Sv, the drivers door handle is a bit loose and unless i 1st grab and shift it to the left and then pull it will not open, does it need a whole new door handle or is this fixable.
