My 2014 Maxima

Figured I would post a few pics of my Max. Please don’t shred my pics lol. Chrome is getting color matched as I’m posting these pics.

I'm assuming you dipped the door handles? I'm curious as to how well the dip would hold up on such a high traffic area.

I actually painted them myself. I had wrapped them prior and didn’t like how it held up. So far the paint has held up very nicely. Handles have about 5 base coats and 3 coats of clear.

Murdered out and slammed, awesome. How are your axles holding up?

I had replaced the passenger side before the coil overs. So far so good on the axles.

How many miles on them since the coilovers? Any vibrations? I'm slammed and put 20k on my Cardones on my 5th gen before I replaced them and only because of a slight vibration between 40-45mph in the last 5k mi or so. Not bad for cheapo aftermarket. I'm on pair of I-don't-even-know-what-brand now and not too bad. I put the cheapest set in I could find this time, like 35 bucks a piece or something. Got 10k on them and a little vibration around 50, otherwise no problems.

I went with Trakmotive. And I would guess 15k miles at most with no issues. Obviously the OEM part is outrageous in price. Didn’t go with the cheapest or the most expensive. Minimal vibration at best if any at all.

My mistake, my first set was also Trakmotive. I'm on the Cardones now. Axle replacement is just part of the game when you're slammed and there's no perfect solution. Cheers.

The stock axle failed while I had just lowering springs installed. So I’m not sure how long the axle will hold up. The drivers side is still OEM with no issues as of yet.

Yup, axles are a crapshoot. I'm sure they all roll off the same line anyway and are just re-branded and packaged. Not a big deal if you're ok with swapping them out. You get a procedure down. By myself, both axles, with seals, swapped out in about an hour or two.

Bro you’re all in your feelings like a female when it’s unnecessary. The point I was making is just because it’s lowered it shouldn’t cause axle wear and vibration. That’s another issue. The only issue I initially had was the negative camber in the rear when going low. NEVER vibration or axle issues. Out of our club nobody else has axle issues. One just lost his trans.

Beautiful vehicle man! I just got the chrome deleted on my 2014 Maxima. Now i'm looking for some coilovers but have no clue what to get. What percentage are your tints btw? Thanks
